Greenville has undergone a dramatic revitalization over the last twenty years. The former textile town has seen a revitalization where artist shops, trendy restaurants, and hot spots are filled with new-comers.
Today, downtown Greenville is a vibrant area with small businesses filling up its storefronts. Enhancing the downtown appeal, Falls Park on the Reedy has become the centerpiece of the town.
Driving the city’s rebirth has been an influx of major manufacturers to the region, drawn by its business-friendly climate, low-cost workforce, and central location between booming Sun Belt cities Charlotte and Atlanta. Those jobs are drawing people to migrate to the Greenville area in large numbers, The population growth is expected to continue as Greenville adds the Bohemian Hotel beside the Reedy River connecting to Falls Park. The lure of Southern Living is on the rise as Greenville gives birth to it’s flavorful mix of new residents from all over the country. Spring is a lovely time to visit and Fall is especially lively as we enjoy the warm days and cool evenings. Greenville is now a flourishing city and no longer a secret to it‘s locals.
